This Poker Run is held in honor of U.S. Veterans and to support the needs of hospitalized vets on Saturday, August 19th. The ride starts at the the New Bridge Fruit Market East, 1311 Tunnel Rd, Asheville. This is 2 blocks east of the VA Medical Center. 1st bike out is at 9:00 a.m. and last bike out is noon. Last bike in is 2:00 p.m. The rides ends at the V.A. Hospital with music, fun, and bike games. It is sponsored by the Buncombe County CBA. Haywood County and Blue Ridge Thunder members are encouraged to ride together as a group to the run. The local ride will leave from Ghost Town HD at 10:30 a.m.
