The Blue Ridge Thunder monthly meeting was held on Tuesday, February 27th, at Tequila's in Enka.

At this meeting, members voted for your club officers for the coming year. Nominations for offices were made at the January meeting. Your club officers for 2007 are as follows:

President: Chuck Way

Vice-President: Don Wallace

Secretary/Treasurer: Nancy Johnson

Communications Officer: Wendy Ruff

Congratulations to the winners and a BIG THANKS to those who were willing to run for office as well. The new slate of Officers took over immediately and will be responsible for the coming year's activities. Cecil Yount will retain his position as coordinator of the November Toy Run and will also continue to maintain the website. Of note, 13 members chose to vote electronically during this election! Thanks to all who took the time to register their votes.

Please keep Myron Fineberg and Jan Houston in your thoughts and prayers as Myron deals with what I am told is some ongoing infection. (Please correct me if I have the wrong!) Also, please keep in your prayers Ron and Mary Hooker and Ron's family as his brother continues to battle witch cancer.
